Nathan and Christys Mission for Able to Serve

The day I went to tour to become a volunteer at Able to Serve was a day I will never forget. I was greeted with hugs, high fives, and tons of smiling faces. The participants showed me what they were learning and I was able to sit in on devotions led by the participants. I have never felt such joy! I knew then this was a place I wanted to be but that I also wanted my son, Nathan to be a participant. Needless to say we love Able to Serve!

The amount of joy felt when we arrive each day is indescribable. Volunteering is a blessing to me and the participants thrive and that is a blessing for Nathan.

I’m fundraising because I believe in what Able to Serve is doing and has been doing for 22 years!. They’re not just caring for adults with disabilities—they’re equipping them to live full, meaningful lives and giving them the opportunity to serve others. That flips the script in the most beautiful way.
